I haven’t sent one of these in a long while, but we put out a new song this week called “Idiot,” so it seemed like a good time to check in. You can listen here, if you’d like. I currently have congested-sick brain, and writing something of substance felt a bit out of reach, so instead I’ll send a list of some things I recently devoured - and would recommend. (I certainly have devoured many things recently that I wouldn’t quite recommend).
Books:
Priestdaddy by Patricia Lockwood
An Immense World by Ed Yong

Food:
Han bat sul lung tang in Koreatown, LA - a classic that stands the test of time
This shrimp recipe - save extra sauce to throw in the freezer for next time you make it. This sauce would be good on anything.
Woon hot sauce - avail at woon in la or specialty stores like wine and eggs. Realizing I’m all about the sauce rn.
Movies:
Serpico - for the outfits
Private Benjamin - for Goldie’s hair alone
Things to Come - I’m a Mia Hansen-Love fan
Creed III - obviously not the greatest in the Rocky lineage, but Jonathan Majors is a star!
Heaven Can Wait - funny and delightful
PS - if you happen to be in a city that Feist is visiting on tour this year, I would highly recommend getting a ticket. https://www.songkick.com/artists/501792-feist It was one of the most unique concert experiences I’ve had and I loved it very much
